Day 5 - Course & Anchorage

The following morning we had to prepare to return the boat. (Sigh ... the trip was half over). We sailed from LITTLE JOST VAN DYKE into the WINDWARD PASSAGE and moored for a couple of hours on ST. JOHN in HAWKSNEST BAY. Had the beach and rocks to ourselves for some swimming and snorkeling. Sailed west across the WINDWARD PASSAGE between CONGO CAY and LOVANGO CAY. Passed MINGO CAY and GRASS CAY then tacked into the MIDDLE PASSAGE and back into PILLSBURY SOUND for our return to RED HOOK BAY.

One last anchor ... post breakfast swim / snorkel in Hawksnest Bay on the north shore of St. John. Beautiful clear, still waters in the morning hours. Around 7:30 - 9:30 A.M. Had the beach to ourselves yet again !!! Adjectives do not express the beauty and peace of this part of God's creation !!!
